Marilynn Leonard of District 13 Flotilla 42 based in Sequim port
Angeles, Washington! She has been selected as the 2008
Auxiliarist-of-the-Year. Ms. Marilynn Leonard is key to the success of
the implementation and Operation of Citizen's Action Network Program in
Port Angeles where she serves as manager of the Citizens’ Action
Network (CAN) team for the Straits of Juan de Fuca, WA, a unique
organization that provides the Coast Guard with invaluable maritime
domain awareness by closely monitoring regional coasts and waterways.

Security Implementation Plan Report to the Public -Specifically, three
existing outreach, education, and operational engagement activities
that improve maritime security and safety could be coordinated,
enhanced and extended nationally. This coordination leverages the AWW,
